Restaurant Albaretto in Augsburg

The service is quick and very friendly. The food is certainly sufficient for older people, but it is quite expensive for such a small portion. Lunch is available from 11.30 a.m. to 2 p.m. We went for lunch on a Tuesday and had turkey rolls with croquettes and carrots. The turkey rolls were a bit dry. The carrots had just the right bite for my taste. The croquettes were also very good. The sauce was ok. The fish (sea bass fillet) was unfortunately also dry and not completely free of bones. What would have been even more uncomfortable for older semesters than for me. The rice was unfortunately not to my taste at all. Too much curry and it was still a bit too firm to the bite. The sauce went just like that. The four different cakes we had were all very good. It doesn't matter whether it's the men's cake or the apple cheesecake. The Mormor cake was also juicy and very good. The coffee was good. The hot chocolate would be very good as was the ice chocolate. Drinks were ok too. The five of us paid around € 85. Which is actually okay in terms of price. Only the portions from the lunch menu were a bit too small for us. We'd love to come back for coffee and cake.

I have been there several times now and have always been very satisfied. The waitresses are very friendly and quick. Special requests are also made possible, insofar as it is possible. Of course, you have to note that there is no normal restaurant with a varied menu, but there are only 2 dishes + day menu. Furthermore, the portions are not too big, I would say. A typical senior portion. But this is very tasty. The daily selection of cakes and tarts is very large and varied. Something for every taste

If you need a cake or a cake on the fly, you should go for a coffee in the Albaretto War Commander. There, the treats are still baked. The prices are so low ... hard to believe.

Very bad experience. Is not really a real restaurant as there are only 3 daily specials, for kids there are not even chips with schnitzel. Service is ok but waiting times are very long ... The food is not great, sometimes still raw or if you want to order without onions it still comes with onions ... Hello ?! Are you crazy? That's called a restaurant? The food is not freshly prepared there comes from a catering service! For me it is a normal canteen, nothing more.

Eat not worth the money !!!

Cake counter with a large selection and good quality (see pictures in reviews of the hotel residence Albaretto). Coffee, well, you can drink. Rooms inside and outside are very spacious and quiet. The prices are cheap. There is also the daily newspaper "Augsburger Allgemeine". I feel very comfortable in the relaxed atmosphere, especially since the audience is usually older. Accessible by bus 32 direction Klinikum, stop Bürgermeister-Ackermann-Straße, then 1 min. On the other side of the street (behind the ALDI).

Unfortunately, there are only two dishes left every day and always one fish. Unfortunately no longer recommended for Auswert. For the residents it may be something better food on wheels .. But since you have, as far as I've heard, monthly 150 € to eat there, I think the offer is a bit brash. And if a resident wants to complain, he is threatened with restaurant reference.

Contrary to popular belief, the Albaretto is not only accessible to residents, but also to everyone else. You can have lunch, drink coffee and dinner here - and at moderate prices with good quality. The decor is simple but modern, trying to break the room and the sound through smaller niches, which works quite well. The service is open-minded and friendly. The average age is of course higher here. There are also more events for seniors like karaoke or dance evenings, but there is then a minimum consumption.

It is always a disappointment. Dishes are no longer available. It often happened that there was no food offer for the children. Despite the reservation and ordering of the dishes the day before, there was no courtesy to make at least one portion of chips for the children. The quality of the dishes has declined significantly in recent years.

Coffee and cake very good, the range of lunch dishes very limited, only snacks in the evening, was much better in the past Addendum 21.12.17 Today we wanted to have lunch in the restaurant at 12.30pm. Unfortunately, of the 2 (two!) Dishes on offer, only one was still available and slag substitutes were offered for the meat dish. We then went and will not go back.

Very good food, but for good "eaters" a portion is not enough ?. Waiting time is okay with so many guests.

They reserve for 18.30 clock, then at 20.00 clock is thrown out of the restaurant because it closes. Food rather modest. Modesty in the price but not.

Unfortunately not recommended for a long time. It's time for a change.
